1. Who we are

Electronics Frenzy is an online retailer of consumer technology accessories operating from 150 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario, K2P 1L4, Canada, at electronicsfrenzy.com. 2. Personal information we collect

• Identity and contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address.
• Order information: products purchased, order value, shipping method, order history and returns.
• Account information: email address and password, if you create an account.
• Communications: messages you send through our contact form, by email or by phone.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring site.

3. Orders and fulfilment

We use your name, address, email and phone number to process your order, ship it, notify you about its progress and handle any return or warranty claim. We share the minimum necessary details with our shipping carriers so they can deliver your parcel and contact you if there is a delivery problem. We keep order records for seven years to satisfy Canadian tax and accounting requirements.

4. Payments

Card payments are processed by our payment provider. Full card numbers, expiry dates and security codes are entered into the provider's secure form and are never stored on Electronics Frenzy systems. We receive only a payment confirmation, the payment method type and the last four digits of the card so we can identify your transaction and issue refunds.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local browser storage to keep your shopping cart and session working, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. Strictly necessary storage cannot be turned off without breaking the store. You can block or delete other cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but some features may be less convenient.

6. Analytics

We measure aggregate traffic — pages viewed, time on page, device type and approximate region — to improve the store. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not combined with your order history to build a personal profile beyond what is needed to operate and improve the store.

7. Marketing

If you subscribe to our newsletter we use your email address to send new product announcements and occasional offers. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link and we act on unsubscribes immediately. We never sell, rent or trade your email address or any other personal information to third parties.

8. Data security

All traffic to electronicsfrenzy.com is encrypted with TLS. Order and account data is stored on access-controlled servers, staff access is limited to those who need it for support, and administrative access requires multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach ever affects your personal information we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.

9. How long we keep information

Order records: seven years. Account details: until you ask us to delete the account. Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Support emails: three years. Analytics data: 26 months.

10. Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email support@electronicsfrenzy.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11. Children

Our store is intended for customers aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, email us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes are also announced to newsletter subscribers.
